Project Manager

    Purpose of the Role:

    Purpose of the Role The Project Manager will oversee and manage the successful execution of multiple service station and related construction projects from contract award to completion and final handover. The role ensures projects are delivered within scope, time, cost, quality, and safety standards in alignment with corporate strategies and ADNOC requirements. The Project Manager will act as a key representative of the company, liaising with internal departments, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities to achieve project objectives.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Assist the Projects Management and Construction Department Manager in meeting departmental goals aligned with corporate strategies and balanced scorecards.
    • Manage the implementation of projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, scope of work, quality standards, and financial requirements.
    • Uphold health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards at project sites and coordinate with the HSE division for inspections and compliance.
    • Act as a focal point and interface between end-users, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
    • Monitor, control, and report project progress from award to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and required quality standards.
    • Lead, coach, and supervise project teams, consultants, and contractors, ensuring alignment with project lifecycle processes and company policies.
    • Propose and implement innovative methods to improve construction efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
    • Review and evaluate technical and contractual submissions, claims, and variations in coordination with relevant departments.
    • Liaise with authorities for required approvals, permits, and NOCs.
    • Oversee pre-qualification of consultants, contractors, and vendors.
    • Conduct regular site inspections, technical review meetings, and progress discussions with stakeholders.
    • Ensure proper project closeout, including handover, settlement of claims, submission of as-built documents, guarantees, O&M manuals, and warranty rectifications.
    • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly project progress reports to management.
    • Evaluate consultant and contractor performance upon project completion for future reference.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum 20 years of overall experience, with at least 12 years in Project Management.
    • Minimum 5 years with the same organization in a similar capacity.
    • Proven track record in managing fast-track projects.
    • Strong knowledge and/or training in value engineering.
    • Familiarity with International Standards and Codes in Oil & Gas industry (API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, BS).
    • Strong background in contracts administration and FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
    • Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project, MS Office).
    • Strong background in contracts administration and FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
    • Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures.
    • Knowledge of industry HSE standards.
    • Excellent report writing, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
    • Valid UAE driving license.
