Mechanical Site Inspection Engineer

    Purpose:

    The Mechanical Site Inspection Engineer is responsible for supervising and ensuring the quality and compliance of all mechanical works on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical equipment installation. The engineer will review technical submissions, monitor site execution, and verify materials, workmanship, and testing activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and ITPs.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Review approved shop drawings, method statements, QCP, and ITP before inspections.
    • Conduct site inspections via ITRs and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
    • Monitor site execution of mechanical systems installation and ensure quality workmanship.
    • Ensure all materials comply with approved MARs and project requirements.
    • Identify and report non-conformities, issue NCRs, and verify corrective actions.
    • Ensure the latest approved drawings are used on site, report progress and delays.
    • Review mechanical as-built drawings and support project close-out .
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum 10 years mechanical site supervision experience (Consultant preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
    • Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and industry standards (ASHRAE/NFPA).
    • Strong communication and documentation skills.
    • Previous experience in ADNOC Distribution Projects.
    • Available in UAE / Immediate joiners preferred.
